Companions of blog, last visit to this page and no more comments :( hahaha We had many times to write about various topics, and this time it was about blogs!

I think blogs are a didactic way to learn English, as long as the topics are fun or are of our taste and comfort. We can achieve many skills and let the mind fly! If you take the time to write the blog you can develop many skills and learn to write and conjugate the words in English, so you learn more.

It has been a new experience, I must admit that there are times where I considered it boring, but I found out how to do it. Blogging and writing about our experiences and tastes, is something that allows us to get to know each other among our colleagues in the section, it is something very remarkable!

Comment sometimes it is difficult hahaha because there are times when the mind goes blank and no idea what to say, that is what I disliked, stay blank.

I would like to include in the future, topics closer to day to day, something more fun, sometimes it is very boring to write about certain topics and as a result is a very very very boring blog.

Punta Arenas

I am one of those who believe that traveling relieves the soul, creates memories and feeds the heart, I love traveling, I love knowing a new place and learning about it.
I like to see the places I'll go in photos, so when it's time to go, my expectations are high and it's more exciting to see it in person.
For this summer I plan to go to Punta Arenas with my family, my dad, mom and sister, only the four.

It is a magical place and full of wonderful places, like "Torres del Paine", knowing it is one of my biggest dreams.
I hope that during the year I have more opportunities to travel and to open my head and heart to the world!

My favorite Subject

I enjoy when there's nothing to do at the university, it's the best thing that exists, but, being here means study, so I have to choose some subject that I like, and I can only think of one, Anatomy.

Studying anatomy is very stressful, but when you do it with time, it can be interesting. It's our first-semester whit this subject, it has been difficult, but not impossible. Muscles and bones are something new for me but it was something that I liked and enjoyed.

I can only complain about one thing, the practical test, it makes me very nervous, it's a test with a lot of pressure and little time, I love when it ends and I can breathe calmly, it's my favorite part haha.

I think it's my favorite class because it is very didactic and there are always helpers willing to teach you, even, they created an Instagram full of videos whit the animal samples and they are explaining in parts. It is an excellent tool when you do not have the material and you want to study at home, they saved me this semester hahaha

Website

Every time I arrive at my house with free time, I go to watch TV for a moment and as usual I put the channel "Animal Planet". With the university and activities there is no time to watch TV, this is why I often go to this website!

They have all the chapters unlocked from the series that I like the most, animal photography, etc. It’s a very curious site.  I love how organized the page is, the shows are arranged in their categories and by seasons and chapters, each show has a brief description and there is even a section that recommends programs and they are always great!

I visit this place about once or twice a week, because i don't have enough time for more, but every time I open the site, I enjoy the most watching all the chapters that I missed, especially those in the series "Pit bulls & parolees" I don’t miss it for nothing! This site has saved me a thousand times haha

My dog!

I have had my dog since I was nine years old, he was my companion during my childhood and adolescence.

His name is Kakkoso, we call him kakko, it's a weird name haha. At firt I wanted to name him “Robim” but my sister came up with her current name and immediately I loved it.

My neighbor's dog had seven puppies, including mine, I saw them being born and I waited until they had two months to be able to choose one and bring it home.

When it came time to choose a puppy I did not know what to do, my neighbor brought the seven babies! and they all ran to my arms, I wanted to stay with all :( then with my sister we decided to put them all in a line and the one that came first to my hand, would be the chosen one, and that's how we stayed with kakko at two months of age.

He likes to make strange faces

Now he is ten years old and he is a very healthy and happy dog, he goes for a walk every day and is surrounded by love! We love him too much and I don’t know how my life would have been without him.

"The photo"

I love everything about photography, taking pictures is one of my favorite hobbies. I am that person who always it’s taking pictures on birthdays, celebrations, trips, vacations, etc.

At the beginning of this year, I traveled to Easter Island, it’s a wonderful place, very relaxed and with a perfect subtropical climate. I was there for two weeks and I took almost 3000 pictures! So, it’s so difficult to choose just one. Anyway, I have a photo that is very beautiful, it was taken by my cousin, Adam, it was very spontaneous, I think my cousin is a good photographer haha

The photo has a great story, everything started at 4 a.m., we had to get up very early this day, to catch up to see the sunrise just behind the fifteen "moais", a typical postal on this island. I was very sleepy that day, we waited and waited until the bright sun began to come out and I he gave me this great photo! 

some good tv times!

I have seen millions of series and choosing just one its very complicated, sooooo, im going to talk about the top of my favorites, like "breaking bad"! What a good serie, its so complete and interesting, everyone should watch her, as a rule hahah

When I was little I watched so many series on TV, like “Hannah Montana” or “Wizards of Waverly Place”, “31 minutos”, “Kim possible”, “Malcom” obviously, there are so many who touched my heart and I remember them with a lot of love. 

When we talk about movies, I can only think in one, that touch my heart, “Billy Elliot”, I absolutely love it, Billy has so much passion in his dreams, in the dance, it’s a very inspiring movie, but really that’s not my favorite.

The number one is definitely “The lion king”, I know every song on that movie even some dialogues. I watched her so many time when I was little, and I never got tired of her <3 who has not cried with the death of “Mufasa”? Or laughetd with “Timón” and “Pumba”? it’s a big part of our childhoods!

My favorite gadget

I don’t know if I could choose just one gadget, because there are so many that I use daily . The one that I most use is the cellphone, so, you can say that would be my favorite.

Phone has everything to keep me busy, I can watch videos on youtube, listen to music on Spotify while I read some document or a summary for the class, I can check my emails, call my friends or send a whatsapp when I go in the subway. I can do millions of things and others at the same time and it’s so easy and fast. 

When I was on vacations, I spoke with my friends by video call, there’s the good thing,  the phone keeps us connected. 

Nowadays, people depend a lot on technology, even the childrens! It’s so weird. I can't imagine a world without technology, maybe we would go crazy hahaha

Why did i choose veterinary?

Since always i like the animals and food, so, when i was Little i wanted to be a chef, but the time it made me realize that animals was and are my thing.

When the time came to take my decision, choose my future, i was between two options: Marine biology and veterinary medicine, but as you can see, i chose the last one

What its make me realize that veterinary was my thing? My dog! Obviously, because animals have no voice, we are the only ones who can help them. Animals are sooo diverse, that learn more about them sounded interesting.

My life has changed so much sice i’m here, in the university. I don’t complain, but has been hard. I met so nice and funny people and i appreciate it very much 💖💖

Autobiography

Hi! My name is Javiera Orellana and i was born almost nineteen years ago, October 29, 1999; in Santiago, Chile. I was raised in a commune called Conchalí.  When i was a little girl i went to a school near to my house, then when i grew up, i changed to one located in the commune of Recoleta.

My family is small but beautiful, it consists of my mom, a very kind person; my dad, a very outgoing guy; my older sister, she is so cute! And obviously, my dog!  He is called Kakkoso and he is ten years old, he is old but is very tender, i really love him.

About my hobbies, what can I say? I love watch cooking programs, the pastry is my favorite pastime. “Discovery home and health” is my favorite channel, since always.

That's all I can think of at this moment!
